How HeatPumpReady.uk works, what you agree to by using it, and the role of installers in the quotes we connect you with.

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website Heatpumpready.uk ("the Website" or "the Service"), which is owned and operated by VerifyRecruiter Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Ireland. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Our Service Description

Our Service is a consumer information and quote comparison platform designed to help users assess their property's suitability for a heat pump and connect with installers operating across the United Kingdom.

  • The Report: You submit details such as your postcode and property information. We then generate a tailored, AI-generated report assessing your property's suitability for a heat pump using various third-party data points.
  • Free Service: The report is provided free of charge. In exchange, we share your project details and contact information with suitable vetted installers from our network — no more than two installers per enquiry — who will follow up with you directly. This is how we fund the service; there is no charge to you at any point.

3. User Obligations

By submitting your property details, you warrant that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract (at least 18 years old or representing a legally registered company).
  • All information provided (including contact details and property specifics) is accurate, true, and complete.
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

4. Relationship with Installers and Report Accuracy

  • Report Accuracy: The AI-generated suitability reports are based on external data points and are intended for informational purposes only. They do not replace a professional physical survey or engineering assessment.
  • Not a Party to Contracts: VerifyRecruiter Ltd is solely an information provider and matching service; we are not a party to any contract or agreement entered into between you and any installer.
  • No Agency: We do not act as an agent, broker, or representative for either the user or the installer.
  • Contractual Responsibility: Any and all services (assessment, installation, maintenance, etc.) provided, or work undertaken, are the sole responsibility of the installer(s) we introduce you to.
  • No Guarantees: While we strive to connect you with reputable professionals, we provide no guarantee or warranty regarding the quality, suitability, solvency, or performance of any installer.
  • Disputes: Any disputes, claims, or issues arising from the heat pump installation must be resolved directly between you and the installer. We are not liable for any acts, omissions, errors, or negligence of any installer.
  • Quotes: Final pricing, scope of work, and scheduling are solely matters negotiated and agreed upon between you and the installer.

5. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of the Website, including text, reports, graphics, logos, and our unique AI generation and matching methods, are owned by VerifyRecruiter Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerifyRecruiter Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party (including data providers and installers) on the Service.
  • Any contract entered into between you and an installer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VerifyRecruiter Ltd and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service.
  • A breach of these Terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.

If you are a consumer, you additionally benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms affects your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Subject to that, legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service may be brought in the courts of Ireland.

9. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
  • We will provide reasonable notice before any new terms take effect.
  • By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
